Satsuma is my special needs fish. I got him with Roy and he came in and after eating in quarantine I added him to the display tank. Hinelea harrassed him into hiding, and we couldn't find him for days. When I did find him (a couple of weeks later) he was clearly very slim and starving. I put him in an acclimation box, and basically blew small pieces of food towards his mouth (he wasn't swiming) and he would occasionally swallow one. That seemed to work as he got stronger and started swimming in the acclimation box. I realized he couldn't see very well if at all (was effectively blind) and would not be able to survive in the big tank competing for food. I setup my frag tank and he was the first addition. To this day he is hand fed from a pair of tweezers as he has trouble picking food out of the water, but he is a survivor and seems to be doing well, even if he can't see very well. Morale of the story don't give up on the fish until it's really dead. Satsuma finally passed away this past year. It was very sad.
