I got Wesley and Buttercup I as a pair from The Biota Group. When they first arrived they were so small, maybe 3/4". I was so worried they would not make it. It was this that started me breeding baby brine shrimp as food for them. I also got a mandarin feeding station from printed reef. Even with this Buttercup I didn't make it, but Wesley did, and is now even eating frozen food.

Buttercup II was a replacement for butter cup I. She is also a green mandarin, but sold as a red mandarin (they are the same species). I was very happy when one night I got to see Wesley and Buttercup doing their mating dance.

Buttercup came from AquaHut and 3/15/2025
