| 2006-05-31 | I came home from work today to find my eel (chain link) 3+ years old dead in the front of my tank. No injury, nothing seemed wrong with him. He last ate 2 days ago (allthough he would only feed 2-3 times/week, so this was not unusal. |
| 2006-01-10 | I love my eel. I used to finger feed him till he bit me, he was kinda small then, but I thought I don't want him doing that when he is bigger. He may have been responsible for eating one of my wrasses (not sure). He eats frozen sea food (mussels, shrimp). He is nocturnal feeding at night as that is when he comes out to feed. During the day he typically hides. He has been carpet surfing twice, and has survived both incidents, hopefully that won't happen again. |
| 2003-04-28 | I got the chainlink eel because I really wanted to have an eel in the tank, I think they are such great creatures. After two snowflakes had gone carpet surfing I knew I wanted something in that family, but with a different pattern. I found this chainlink, the only one in with about 10 snowflakes all huddled in a clay pot, and I knew I was taking him home with me. |
