Sand Sifting Star - Astropecten polycanthus

| 2006-11-18 | I have had this star since before my 180 came into existance, so over 2 years. He definitly buries himself in my sand bed and stirs the sand around. Many say these creatures will destroy sand beds, and maybe he has destroyed what he can get to of mine, but I see pleanty of life in other places and since he can't get to my refugium he can't kill whats there. I just hate to kill him after I bought him. |
